Ram Mandir is a temple located outside Dharmasthala, on the shores of the river Netravati. The temple is at a distance of about 3.5KM from Shri Majunatha temple. This temple was built in 2003 by Nithyananda Swami a well known spiritual and yoga guru and it houses the marble shrines of Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana. As the chief deity is Shri Rama there are 36 idols hosted in the temple.
This temple has two floors that house many marble idols of Ram, Sita and Lakshmana. A large number of devotees visit this temple which is known for its scenic beauty as the mighty hills of the Western ghats majestically overlook it.
Rama Bhajana Sapthaha is held here every year for seven days and it culminates in the grand festival of “Shri Rama Navami”. This festival attracts thousands of devotees of Shri Rama from far and near who gather and chant the “Rama Taraka Mantra” around the Nanda Deepa.
